7 Week Animal Sculpture

Explore creating animals through sculpture. Beginning with small maquettes, we’ll study a variety of techniques for both wall pieces and free-standing sculptures. Bring your imagination; animal forms can be personal, mythical or fanciful.

You will apply various hand-building techniques to form clay, including: pinch, slab, coil building and carving. Students will also have the opportunity to build functional ware for their furry friends.
