The Magnolia Chamber of Commerce “Winterfest “event on Saturday, December 7th is the chance for our community and businesses to come together and kick off the Holiday Season. We close off our main business area streets between 32nd W and W McGraw to 34th W and W McGraw for all our activities. Everything in our Village area will be lit, and wreaths will be hung on all the flower poles and our business front doors. The theme this year is snowflakes.
Thank you to our title sponsors Kong Academy and Bright Horizons for making this year more festive than ever. Thank you also to Vixen Collection for sponsoring Winterfest After Dark this year to help bring fun, safe festivities in the closed off street from 2-8pm.
From morning until early afternoon, we have our Holiday Farmer’s Market. During the afternoon, our businesses sponsor kids’ arts and crafts, like cookie decorating, ornament making, letters to Santa, holiday garland crafts, pictures with Santa at Windermere, and many more fun activities. After dark, starting at 5:30 pm, we have tree lighting and singing at our local Magnolia Garden Center…entertainment, music, decorated antique car show, and selfie locations take place on our closed streets, along with other fun surprises throughout the evening. Most of our businesses stay open until 8 pm.
